The problem

Enterprise back offices run invoice processing, approvals and compliance on people and inboxes. iClerk provides specialized AI agents for those workflows, with a full web and mobile app, real-time analytics, approval workflows, custom field mapping, and integrations with QuickBooks, NetSuite and custom systems, offered white-label through channel partners.

Key decisions

Constraint

Design decisions in a Figma file are easy to lose between hand-off and build.

Options

Hand over static mockups, or prototype in the technologies that would go live.

Decision

The prototype was built in React and Mantine, the production stack, so engineering could reuse the code and every design decision was validated against real components.

Trade-off

Slower than drawing screens. A technical foundation the team shipped from.
