The problem
Passkeys replace passwords and two-factor codes with strong, phishing-resistant authentication, but the teams adopting them need an admin that makes apps, origins, users and theming manageable. The design covers the dashboard, app management, theme customization with live preview, user management, stats over time and by method, and platform setup for WordPress, JavaScript, React and Vue.
Key decisions
A sign-in widget lands on a customer’s site, in the customer’s brand.
Ship a fixed widget, or let admins theme it.
Theme customization with a live preview: container, text, inputs, primary and secondary buttons, seen as the user will see them before saving.
More admin surface. Fewer support tickets about a widget that looks wrong.
